Essential Preparation

Requirements to Notarize

Please review these mandatory signing conditions before your appointment. Full preparation ensures your documents can be notarized without delays.

01

Physical Presence

The signer must attend the in-person appointment personally. The notary must verify identity and complete the notarial act in direct physical presence. Remote/video notarization is not accepted for this specific service.

02

Acceptable ID

Signers must present a current, valid, government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, state ID card, or passport). Photocopies and phone photos are strictly not accepted. Identification must be unexpired and legible.

03

Signing Procedure

Do not sign the document in advance unless specifically instructed. For acknowledgments and jurats, the signer must execute the signature in the physical presence of the notary.

04

Witness Requirements

If your document requires disinterested witnesses (such as specific wills or healthcare forms), the signer must arrange them in advance. Witnesses must also bring acceptable, current government photo ID.

05

Corporate Signatures

When signing on behalf of a Corporation, LLC, or Trust, the document must identify your official capacity/title, or you should bring appropriate documentation demonstrating legal authority to sign.

06

Document Preparation

Ensure all text pages are complete without unintended blank fields prior to signing. Leave notarial certificates and signature blocks unfilled for completion at the appointment.

Step-by-Step Workflow

How It Works

A simple, transparent four-step process designed for seamless coordination and accurate document execution.

1

Submit Your Request

Tell us your document type, preferred appointment date, number of signers, and target location across NYC or Nassau County.

2

Document Review

We review the inquiry to clarify eligibility, identify witness requirements, and confirm valid government identification guidelines.

3

Confirm Appointment

Timing, meeting location, notary availability, and applicable service travel fees are agreed upon clearly before scheduling.

4

Complete Notarization

Attend the appointment in person with your valid ID and documents. The notary verifies identity, witnesses execution, and stamps the certificate.
